The Prince in Canada

As Heir to The Canadian Throne, The Prince of Wales has had a life-long affinity for Canada. In 1996 he declared: “Every time I come to Canada, and I’ve been here many times since 1970, a little more of Canada seeps into my bloodstream and, from there, straight into my heart.”

During his 15 visits to Canada, The Prince has visited every province and, counting his visits to communities in Nunavut that took place before its creation in 1999, every territory as well.
