Youth Entrepreneurship Launchpad Graduation

Participants from the first cohort of the Youth Entrepreneurship Launchpad (YEL) graduated yesterday in Toronto. Initiated by the Prince’s Canadian Responsible Business Network (PCRBN) and run in collaboration with Yonge Street Mission (YSM), the program helps youth facing barriers to traditional employment learn more about entrepreneurship and starting a business. Youth Entrepreneurship Launchpad – overcoming barriers to employment through entrepreneurship

YEL is a pilot project created by PCRBN that helps youth facing barriers to traditional employment learn more about entrepreneurship and starting a business.  The program is designed to encourage participation amongst youth who face multiple barriers to employment including police records, homelessness, trauma and racial and cultural stigma.
