Prince’s Charities Canada (PCC) announces that The Hon. Hilary M. Weston, Chair of the Board of Directors and Founding Patron; and Amanda Sherrington, Prince’s Charities Canada’s founding Chief Executive Officer, retired from their positions, effective December 12, 2017.

Mrs. Weston will assume the new role of Chair Emeritus.

PCC would like to express its sincere thanks to The Hon. Hilary M. Weston and Amanda Sherrington for their dedication and service, and for leading the organization’s development and growth since its inception in 2011.

F. Mark M. Fell, Head of Global Ultra High Net Worth Services at Royal Bank of Canada, is the new Chair of the Board of Directors. Mark has been a committed supporter of PCC since 2012. Commenting on his appointment, Mr. Fell said:

“I am truly delighted to take on this important responsibility. I look forward to working with the PCC team and building upon the exceptional work that has been so well accomplished to date.”

The search for a new CEO is now underway. In the meantime, the PCC Board has appointed Dermot Finch as the Interim CEO and Transition Director.

Over the coming months, PCC will work in close collaboration with the UK charity, The Prince’s Trust. This will enable PCC to develop and deepen its impact across Canada.
